That's so wonderful that he hasn't had to go overseas! My sister-in-law and brother-in-law have been through basic for the national guard and go to AIT this summer. My other sister-in-law is currently at basic and leaves for AIT right after she graduates in May. I hope that none of them ever have to go overseas, but they probably will.

Aww. He's military, right? Has he had to go overseas? Before I started working, the weeks where hubby traveled were SO long. If I didn't have the dogs to talk to, I'd go crazy.

Mine are fine. I actually used to work with my mother-in-law before I began dating my husband. My family lived next door to my husband's family when we were little, so I have a picture of us together when I was 2!

I did it for a while, too. We moved in May and I didn't start working until mid-August. I was bored, but my house was spotless! I wish I could say the same now. My in-laws are coming up next Friday and our place is a mess!

I work at Lowe's. Ugh. It's far from glamorous, but every little bit helps, right? I'm actually hoping to get back to school in the fall so that I don't have to work at Lowe's my entire life.

Oh gosh, military! I grew up near an air force base, so I'm used to people coming and going a lot. The hubs cousin is in the air force stationed in Florida. Each time I talk to his wife, she talks about how much she misses her friends and family here and how bored she is.

Don't feel bad about not having any friends. I've lived here since mid-May and the only people I see (other than my hubby, of course) are the people I work with and I certainly don't want to see them outside of work!
