About Me:: I graduated from Dublin City University in November with a BA in Journalism. I have letters after my name now, which is pretty damn awesome, but that’s about all the good that degree is going to do me! It was a terrible thing to finish college after pouring a lot of effort into journalisming and realise that it’s not what I want to do, so now I’m all bitter and cynical *pours the brandy*.

Lol, but not really.

Granted the hardcore, blood-thirsty life of a reporter is most definitely not for me, but there’s no such thing as a wasted experience! College was amazing between making some amazing friends, living away from home for the first time, discovering the many joys of drama, such as directing, and even being an editor!

So now, I’m just winging it until I find the direction I want to go in. I was one of the lucky few to land a decent job after college, and now I work in media monitoring, which could definitely be worse. It’s not a forever-plan though, and myself and The Boy are currently scheming a move to Australia next year. Fingers crossed y’all!

What makes you different from other bloggers?: My tastes are ecclectic so they appeal to a wide range of people, I'm "harsh but fair" and I appreciate good and beauty in all things, but I never hold back a good tongue lashing when it's deserved!

Every time I talk to a boy and he tells me what he's reading or what his favorite book is, I always get that book!? What's the deal? Holden is so self loathing, pitiful and annoying. Argh.
