Aw, thanks, I really liked your recent blog about getting a green job out of college! :)

As for making a badge, it's really simple-- I'm kind of self taught though (nerd), so my skills aren't really "professional". Basically all I do (and this is going to sound ridiculous) is make it in paint, save it to my photos, upload it to photobucket and copy the html code to put into my blog. That's really it.

www.dafont.com has really great free fonts, so basically I go there first- find a font that "inspires" me and then built my badge around that.

When using photos in the badge, I like to use really simple symbols or images if I use them at all- just because I'm not super techy to the point of figuring out pixels and stuff like that- so often times they'll come out blurry or stretched- or just not how I expected them to.

But what I would suggest for a pinup badge would be a girl's silhouette. But if you want to make one and need help, or just need help brain storming ideas- let me know. :) And when one is made- I totally want one on my blog! Also, have you started a website for this calendar idea? You should! Or a twitter page- something to link back to! :)
