haha nice. I have a degree in PR, so that's a funny coincidence! I'm sort of looking for work, yeah. I'm working a temp position at a University doing communications stuff right now and hoping it will turn into something permanent but not sure. I have been working all contract positions since I graduated in 2008 bc I had trouble finding anything and it's been really frustrating. I think it's a combo of crappy economy and competition unfortunately. But I live in a smaller city so that makes a diff I'm sure. Hang in there though! Keep applying to as much as you can, make your resume and stuff as good as you can so you stand out and be open to what type of job you take even if the pay isn't the best. You will find something!

Glad it worked out! I was worried something was going wrong with the blog, so thanks for pointing it out. I'm curious, what is your degree in? I notice you say above you are looking for work (I feel your pain lol)

Thanks for following, I like making new friends! Working at a restaurant is legit, at times. I really don't miss those shifts. Friday close (get out around 1 or 2AM, just in time to make last call), Saturday double (12 hours in a restaurant, not cool) and Sunday brunch. We would get cut, run train on sidework and then hightail it to the bar and spend all the money we just made. We would get absolutely hammered and then manage to make it into work for our Sunday brunch shift. It was a disaster. They were amazing times though, we all have great stories from those times. Keep your head up, you'll find a good job. I have faith!

Hmm that's wierd that you can't follow the blog...I use Google Reader and I can just copy and paste the URL into the reader and follow it that way but I'm not sure what you use...did you try that? I don't actually have a link you can click to follow on my homepage, I should think about maybe adding that...thanks for letting me know! Let me know if it's still not working!

Hey thanks.  At the moment since I have just redone my blog I do not have any RSS feed or anything set up as I have coded it all myself and don't use a blogging platform. Currently the only way to follow me is the good old fashioned way of bookmarking.  I am looking into setting something up, just need to find the time. :)

 

However I am enjoying following your blog!
