About Me:: Hi - I'm young, confused, broke, but happy. I started blogging as a way to clear my head and gain perspective in this crazy time in our lives. I love the winter and all the fun that comes with it (skiing, skating, snowmobiling), it's my favorite season by far. My goal is to one day be fluent in Spanish and move to Central America, maybe not forever but for awhile at least. I love food and am trying to break up that torrid love affair and instead start loving the gym more, but baby steps right?

I don’t remember the weather. I don’t remember if it was clear with a millions stars all around or if it was overcast with a light mist that you could just barely feel on your skin. I don’t know how to take the picture off my wall. I’ve tried, but the spot looks too bare, too sterile, too bright. When the picture is there, I don’t have to stare at the blank wall, just at your memory.

Have you heard the new Anna Nalick song, "Shine"? I heard it on the radio this morning and it really touched me. Not because of anything I am going through but because it describes a person in my life so very well.
