Last night I attended the Healthworks Blogger Bash and it was awesome! I had such a great time mixing and mingling with all the fabulous women
in attendance (there were about twenty of us.) Since I’m a relatively

- I am 23 years old, originally from NY, dabbled in Hawaii as well as Chicago, and am now living in Boston. I like making people laugh, sharing my stories and little tid bits, and discovering new bars/deals/concerts etc. to pass along to people. My blog has been inspiring me to continue to see whats out there, to encourage myself to go out and do things (it's so easy to get stuck 'staying in' for the night with your boyfriend over and over.) I don't want that to happen to us, and I'm not going to let it because I include FUN into my life (and his!) - I think I have a good sense of humor and I try to include that in my blog, I hope to put a smile on someone's face or for them to get a chuckle out of something ridiculous that happened to me. I also want to find good deals/cheap finds in the Boston area so I can pass that along to readers.

Last weekend Colin’s wonderfully impressive sister Liz graduated from Merrimack and celebrated her 22nd birthday on the same day, so congratulations and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She’s off to start a new chapter in her life – such an exciting/nerve-wracking time. I remember when my college chapter was coming to a close… I was ready to move on but I definitely had feelings of anxiety towards the future. She has raised us to look out for our siblings – to take care of each another, to have a strong sense of faith and values, to show compassion and kindness to others, to be thoughtful and generous, to help those in need, and to use the gifts we were blessed with. No Phone Zone

You see your phone lighting up. You hear the beep. Your ringtone is going on and on and on… You pick it up, read the text, and have to slam on your brakes because you just looked up from your phone and it’s a red light. You almost just crashed into the car in front of you. Your heart is racing, you start sweating and you think ‘Phew! That was a close call.’
