Last weekend's climb inspired me 2 post a piece I wrote after my own induction in Mt.Pulag. Remember this, LM batch 15? http://bit.ly/32O1ARNov. 11, 2009

All these can be used to describe me. But the truth is, I’m no one, really. Just a regular guy who’s not all that different from anybody who has and will come across this blog. Like everybody else, I enjoy the many thrills that life has to offer. I enjoy being challenged by the many dares it presents.
Maybe I’m different because unlike most people, I was fortunate enough to take on a few of those dares. And by doing so, I’ve experienced what it’s really like to live.
I’ve climbed mountains. Ran races. Dived into the open sea. Covered countless miles, and left even more footprints along the way. I used to live by the supposed creed of the late George Mallory, taking on a challenge simply because it was there.
That changed shortly after I graduated and entered the corporate world a little over two years ago. Before I knew it, my mountains turned into paperwork. And I was running to catch an elevator instead of to cross a finish line. But as much as my life has changed, I’m not ready to concede that there’s nothing more out there – hence, the name of my blog.
I’ve made a commitment to answering that question. I want to find out what I can do to experience the adrenaline that used to fuel me on a regular basis, in spite of the responsibilities of adulthood and the real world. And I’ve decided to chronicle my life in search and anticipation of the next big rush, as well as the steps I need to take to keep me strong and healthy enough to enjoy it fully when it comes.
Who am I? Chances are, I’m just like you.
Just another guy who wants to make the most of this thing called life.
