Okay, this is the deal. My name is Shantel, and I’m a blogging maniac. I’ve been blogging since 2004 and I’ve had blogs all over the place. You name the site, I’ve had a blog there at some point in time. I just love the freedom of writing down my random thoughts, dreams, ideas, worries, fears, and sharing them with like-minded individuals. I’ve met a lot of interesting people since I’ve begun my “life online”, and I wouldn’t change the experience for anything in the world.
I’m 28 years old and mommy to a wonderful little boy named Braylon. He’s my WORLD, and greatest accomplishment. Being a mom is a truly life changing/earth shaking experience. I’ve grown/matured in so many ways and I thank God for him everyday because I learn so much about love and life through his innocent eyes.
I enjoy writing; It’s so therapeutic. I’ve been journaling since the age of 8. My grandmother bought me my first diary (I still have it to date), and ever since then I’ve been hooked. I just love being able to look back over time and see how far I’ve come, or look at past mistakes and see what I want to change about myself.
This blog will be a pot-luck of sorts. You’ll be reading about some of everything…Music, My son, Daily life, Career goals, Dreams/Aspirations, My fizzling love life, and my search for Mr. Wonderful. Call me crazy, but I still believe in “Prince Charming”. I know that special man that’ll make my heart skip a million beats is out there, it’s all about clearing all of the garbage out of my life in order for him to find me.
