About Me:: on my blog profile: I am very self-aware (my positive way of saying self-critical) at all times - to a fault - which is why I double back, erase things, etc. I have struggled against that trait for years, but now I'm just learning how to make it work to my advantage. I have always wanted a career that would make a difference, but nothing really set my heart on fire. I thought about personal training, but wasn't in peak physical condition myself. After I got married - there was no condition at all. My hubby and I both gained that interesting and sneaky happiness weight people talk about. Who wants a fat personal trainer? No one should. But I've realized that I have an edge over other trainers as long as I can get fit again. I have been to the far reaches of fatness. I have stared obesity down in the mirror. I am not naturally thin. I have an average frame, I'm blessed in the chest, and I come from a cuisine history of the Southern persuasion (biscuits and gravy is one of the four food groups). If I can do it anyone can and I'll be there to help you do it too!
