That's what I keep on telling myself! It is funny that I'm excited about 2 years (or so) left, when everyone else thinks that is forever!!

I'm with you on that one. My interactions with academia have left me more than a little jaded, but I have been thinking more about a research career outside of that realm, rather than spending every second doing clinical work. How much longer do you have?

I enjoy it generally, but it is a pretty high stress program. Damn, analytic chemistry? Are you looking for a career in academic, research...?
