How much flirting with your readers is too much?

I've been on both sides of the fence--the "THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE!" side and the "Hey, if they like my words, I bet they'd like the rest of me too!" side. Opinions? Does it bother you to see a blog writer relentlessly flirting in his/her comment section? Is such behavior better left to AIM and e-mail? Or do you think anything/everything is fair game?

conversations about relationships, Christianity, 20-something struggles, and politics. I like to take on controversial topics in a non-controversial way. This blog does not exist for me to vent or to tell you about my oh-so-boring life. I see blogging for me as a way to set the table for a community meal, if you will.

By the way, you can comment even if you don't have a Xanga account: just choose the "Anonymous" tab and it gives you a name/web-site choice for your comments. Question: Should I also use my blogspot blog, would more people reply that way?
What makes you different from other bloggers?
The variety of topics I address, and the videocasting I occasionally employ.

Heyy, nope, I haven't moved to Hawaii. I actually graduate from nursing school this weekend and take the licensing exam at the end of June. After I pass that, I can work as a real nurse (RN ^_^). I'm applying to a Honolulu hospital.. but also hospitals in a couple other states as well. We'll see where I end up. I've been praying about it a lot lately :)
