The Good Life

Whenever I start feeling extra stressed, worried or negative, I like to step back and remind myself of the good stuff. It’s been a while since I’ve shared a love list. I’m not particularly stressed or worried, but a lot has been going on lately and I haven’t had a chance to stand still. This [...]

My favorite blogging experience…so far

Yesterday I asked you what your favorite blogging experience was. Many of you cherish the connections you’ve made through blogging and I’m really happy to see that. It’s hard for me to pick just one experience to label as my favorite, so I thought I’d share a few. Discovering the 20SB network. I’ll admit that while [...]

20SB Thank-Yous & Blogger Swag

Many bloggers are talking about the 20-Something Blogger Meet-up that happened last weekend. I don’t like repeating the same details as someone else, but I’m sure our blogging paths will cross at some point this week. I wanted to start off by thanking some of the people, companies and organizations involved. I was very excited to [...]

The emotional rollercoaster that is my workout

I’m in an abusive relationship with my Wii. There, I said it. It beats me down and I keep coming back for more. It’s kind of like Rihanna and Chris Brown, except we’re both white and neither of us can sing very well. So I guess, when you really think about it, we’re nothing alike. I’ve [...]

I’m 100% 50/50

What I learned this weekend: #1 When you eat, you’re just a vacuum with nipples (You can thank Deven Green for that gem.) #2 Twenty-something d-bags enjoy saying “tits” way too much. #3 I really don’t like the word “tits.” #4 McDonald’s has no sense of what temperature outside. I pulled up to the drive through and was greeted [...]

Haha +1 for blue line love... at least for when it's not dependant on using a shuttle bus to get around town on the weekends!

I'd have to put in a vote for Handlebar Cafe 2311 W. North Ave. Solid beer selection vegetarian / vegan friendly menu, that's also the night of $5 Irish carbomb's... So granted, I am a lil' biased in recomending the place because they serve my favorite cocktail... The food's awesome though. I'm not a vegitarian and I'm reccomending a vegitarian spot.

Another good thing is easy access via CTA blue line or buses.
