Canon Rebel xt--Anyone know anything about it?

My husband just bought a used canon rebel xt with 2 lens attachments. I am not familiar with SLR cameras. Anyone willing to help me out in learning how to use it? Or atleast tell me where to go get a manual for it? Thanks so much!!

About Me:
I love most things creative and artsy. I love to paint especially with oils. I love to take pictures. I also like writing and reading poetry. I have three beautiful kids. Ages-5, 3 and 1.5. So needless to say life gets a little crazy at times. My husband and I have known eachother since high school. But were not high school sweethearts (that is for a blog post-ha). We are both learning things about eachother still and it has been 4 years of marriage and we dated 2 years before that. We are growing up together-and it is hard-but not always bc we are in love.

i've never given photography it's own go. but i'm at a point where i might soon have to. cool that you're doing it together. i've always secretly wanted a boyfriend who would shoot weddings with me. it's a cool job as a team, and kind of like a date for the weekend too. and i find that couples always have great views of weddings. well, best of luck to you both! hope you're having a great weekend, mel

Hey. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back with you after you left that detailed comment on my page. I don't know much about point-and-shoots, unfortunately, but I do know that you can purchase some good DSLRs for relatively cheap and that they are a fun thing to learn on. If you'd like to know more about some of them, send me a message, and I can point you toward some I have used before. I hope that helps!
