About Me:: I can best describe myself by using one of my favorite quotes from Audrey Hepburn.

I spend most of my time working as an Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing at a local University. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me in the kitchen. Baking is my passion, and more often than not, my therapy. On any given weekend you’ll find my kitchen counters filled with cupcakes, frosted layer cakes, tea cookies, sugar cookies, apple spice muffins, key lime pie…..you name it, I’ll bake it. I firmly belive in the saying “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. Never doubt that, girls, it’s the TRUTH!

I am in my early 20’s and have realized now, more than ever, that it’s the little things in life that make me happy. A rainy afternoon when I can take a nap, a new set of frosting tips, a delicious new recipe, a day by the pool , or a good laugh with a great friend. My life is full of little moments that make me realize just how content I can be with a cupcake in my hand and the person I love sitting next to me.

In my world, a sweet treat can fix almost anything!

What makes you different from other bloggers?: I use recipes I find on the internet and always add my own touch. My recipes all have stories that go with them and if I fail at a recipe, then my reader gets to read about it! My blog is a baking experience, not just pictures about cupcakes.
