About Me:
I'm a student of Pakistan's best business school - the Institute of Business Administration - even though I never wanted to be a business student. Ever. But with the lack of higher education choices in this country, I had to settle with what I got. Currently I am failing almost all my courses, with the kind of indifferent attitude I harbor towards my "business" studies.

On a more positive note, business school was where I found the love of my life to whom I'm very very happily married now (mash'Allah - a phrase meant to keep the evil eye away in our religion :)). He's what keeps me going in times when all I want do is drop out from college.

My mother had breast cancer last year. That was the time I actually grew up. Before that I was pretty much an immature child, having lived a very sheltered life.

What I really want is to go to an awesome Journalism school, work my ass off and see the world. Waiting for the world to change, till then. :)

Kanwal, first of all let me say you are a very beautiful person. I can tell after reading your "about me" section. I am so sorry the cards that you have been dealt with the politics of your country. I could understand why you would not want to obtain a degree in business. Stay Strong dear, the world is changing little by little. In the meantime, just keep blogging.
