About Me:

I'm a civil engineer working in the construction industry. I have inherited a pathological need to *do* stuff and *make* things... especially clothes and food. At the moment, I'm learning lots about photography (thanks to the gift of a DSLR last Christmas).

I love that I'm doing something useful, productive, and creative; keeping the dying arts of proper cooking and sewing alive, and maintaining a life outside of work.
And I love a laugh. Even at my own expense.

I am an engineer, cook and sewist, but I'm not old, a man, or a "mommy blogger"!
