if you get the chance and you like spicy food, try indonesian or suriname food. the netherlands had colonies there, so those restaurants are everywhere, and the food is really unusual and good! also, dutch apple cake... "apfel tart" or something like that... SO GOOD. and get it with the schlaag (can't remember the spelling-but it's whipped cream! worth every calorie.)
