About Me:

Hi! I'm Kathy. I live with my boyfriend, a dog, and 2 birds in an apartment in a medium-sized midwestern city. I work full time and go to law school at night. My background is in urban planning and architecture and I have spent the past six years doing urban planning and zoning work at a small law firm. My first loves are drawing and dance. I danced ballet, tap, hip-hop, etc. since the age of 3 - for over 20 years, although I was out of it for the past few years and just got back into it. I also cheered for an NFL team for a time, although ballet is what i REALLY enjoy!! I love interior design, fashion, makeup, food, wine and the list goes on…this blog is a place for me to share these things that I enjoy so much during my much needed wind-down time after a long day of work and studying…I don’t purport to be an expert on fashion or interiors as I most certainly am not – I just know what I like! I love to hear what others have to say about these things - share ideas, likes, dislikes, etc.

I would love to do a blog on many of the urban planning issues going on around my city, but given my line of work, we seem to be involved in everything planning-related in some way. As such, I shall reluctantly stay away from that subject matter. I hope to have more DIY interiors and garden-type projects on here in the future, but for now it is mostly fashion-related posts that fit more efficiently within my work/school schedule.
