Profile Information

Where do you live:
New Orleans, LA
Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
I'm a former philosophy major, consumer of pop culture, lover of life but embracer of death. I'm anti-realism, pro-idealism and truth seeking. I don't think there's much point in living your life if you aren't trying to change the world in only the exact way you know best. I'm think New Orleans is ripe to be the center of the next important social movement, and I want to be a part of it however I can. I think most secrets are kept because of fear, and fear is the worst motivation of all. Everyone is absolutely unique, and yet we are all equivalent.
Website:

How long have you been blogging:

Fill in the blank: "People who like _________ will love my blog!"
To look at things with a new perspective, to think critically, to wonder about the nature of reality, to be challenged, to interact
What makes you different from other bloggers?
I want my blog to change the world, I want my blog to inspire everyone to have their own blog

In many ways, this past weekend was a New Orleans classic for me. I rushed home from work, ran to the shower and was on Frenchmen within 20 minutes. After mixing my flask of whiskey with some diet I bought from the market, I met up with a friend from out of town and… Continue

Post-Cause

I don't think we should have causes anymore. This is not to say that we should ignore the worlds problems. But rather that causes create a dogmatic 'us vs. them' mentality. They perpetuate the idea that there are certain causes one can choose to fight for or not, and the strength of your engagement in that fight is…
