I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels! Go to hell Duke!) with a degree in Management and Society. I interned during school, and then joined a company full time as an HR manager upon graduation. After that I moved into an Operations role managing Apparel and Accessories. I recently left in Feb 09 to pursue an opportunity in another industry.
Now I work in the hospitality industry. Daily, I'm charged with influencing our customers buying habits by driving our brand promise.
I'm able to find the lesson and the humor in everyday interactions.
I find great joy in sharing my stories. My writing isn't pedantic or extraordinarly deep. It's not "bandwagon" and it doesn't make a lot of generalizations--on the contrary, it's meant to generate conversations. It's based off my experiences and my viewpoint of the world. Because of that, you may disagree at times. I'm okay with that :)
Fill in the blank: "People who like _________ will love my blog!"
Honesty
What makes you different from other bloggers?
In my world, work and life aren't balanced at all. They intersect. My blog links real life experiences to corporate/business theories and concepts through storytelling
