Joanna Newsom: Music To Your Ears or Nails On a Chalkboard?

My last post asked readers to voice their opinions on the artist Joanna Newsom. So far people seem very polarized. Which side do you support? Check out her music and cast your vote here: http://kristinkepplinger.wordpress.com/2010/09/07/joannanewsom/

Thank you for the well thought out comment! I'm a little too compulsive to wait to write back.

I completely agree about finding the balance between professional and personal life. I'm definitely struggling with that! I've been working at different companies for the past couple years and the college thing but I still don't feel like I deserve "professional" as a title! Even though my bosses are driving around in Mercedes and Lincoln town cars doing professional careers, it is as though my experiences there are still not up to par for my ideal career goals. It is one of those life lessons of being an adult but not quite knowing everything yet (walking the fine line of in between).. The social media and blog work I'm currently doing is my way of getting through the stage so I can do bigger and better projects..

Will they ever find something those blenders cannot blend. I think not, as it is a viral campaign meant to sell blenders and showing it fail would be unattractive to consumers. But nevertheless, they are amazing.

heyyy!! Have you felt inspired by blogging yet? All the social media blah blah blahs makes me tired.. haha I feel like I have nothing good to write about yet so i'm stlll trying to process the whole deal even if i've been writing online for a better part of 5 years but now I want to sound somewhat professional so that makes it ten times harder for me! My learning curve is lacking so far. What good things have you gained experience wise from being a new blogger?
