If you're from Texas or live in Texas...
If you know it's "y'all," not "ya'll"...
If you think an 85-degree day in August is a cold front...
Then this group's for you! Because we all know it's the greatest state ever.
I’m a twenty-something girl who loves to write and never leaves the house without at least one Moleskine journal and several ink-pens. My parents spent a lot of money on my English degree so I figure hey, why not make them proud by writing my very own blog! I’ll let you know how they feel about it, right after I figure out a way to explain to them things like “RSS feeds” and “the purpose of Twitter.”
I married a good man - Flannery O’Connor said it best when she said, “a good man is hard to find,” but I was lucky enough to find mine, and he makes me happy every day.
I am a Texan through & through. I have been known to say things like “he couldn’t find his butt with both hands” and “bless her heart.” I sleep with a gun on my nightstand and consume sweet tea, Shiner beer, and large quantities of meat.
I’m the proud owner/mommy of The World’s Most Giant Long-Haired Chihuahua and The World’s Tiniest Australian Shepherd – their names are Pancho & Leia, respectively. PS: If you don’t own sheep, you probably shouldn’t get an Australian Shepherd. (We don’t own sheep.)
I’m a nerd (but not a geek) and my iPhone is permanently attached to my hand. I make a living by working from home on “teh internets,” and spend 8-12 hours every day on my computerz – a MacBook for work and a 15″ MacBook Pro for play.
I like: Taking pictures, teapots, a clean house, spray paint, IKEA, gaudy jewelry, and cooking/baking.
I dislike: Carpet stains, crippling perfectionism, split pea soup, Tom Cruise, and non-Apple computers.
He's a Pomeranian :) I have a link on my blog to my flickr page, where I have a whole set of his and his brother's photos I've taken. You should check it out! I saw a picture of your baby though, and they DO look alike! So adorable
I love your blog, your dogs and the fact that you got excited when you met P.Dubs....because I would as well! I mean, have you seen her Olive Cheese Bread? :)
