I fell into blogging courtesy of my mother and have been hooked for three years. Pen and paper no longer seems the same compared to the sound of my fingers on the keyboard and so, a few days a week (and sometimes all seven days) I'm here, typing away. My blog started out as a way to chronicle the numerous bad dates I had been on and then one day, I started falling for a great guy I met on a blind date. (I know, some of you are gagging while reading this.) My blog has since turned into the many ups and occasional downs of being in a relationship, learning how to be in a relationship again, and the many journeys and stories that pop along the way from being a permanent bridesmaid, family memories, my faithful and loyal dog Jack, and much, much more. I'm not as good as Carrie Bradshaw in my writing, but I'd like to be.

My agent got me into blogging and though I resisted, I'm starting to appreciate some of the benefits, like venting and connecting. Relationships are very rollercoasterish. As my mom used to say, "find the funny."
