About Me:
I'm married to a JTAC (USAF) and it isn't always easy... But it is totally worth it! If you check out my blog, you might find some ranting, anger, joy, sadness, love... I plan on just putting it all out there as it helps me to get it off my chest and feel like someone might be listening and understand. I also know there aren't many TACPs and there are even fewer wives of them, so I want to be at least one voice out there who knows what this life is really like.

I recently started this blog (I have another one that's been going for a couple of years) because I needed a place where I could be completely honest about what's happening in my life. My other blog is followed by family members (and a few of my husband's co-workers) and I just don't feel comfortable throwing all my emotions or opinions out there... sometimes you just need to vent... even when you know your opinion really doesn't matter [to those in charge of our lives - the military]. Let me know what you think!

Fill in the blank: "People who like _________ will love my blog!"
a realistic look at my life as a TACP wife...a military wife's perspective...
What makes you different from other bloggers?
i'm married to a TACP JTAC! we're all unique... my blog is just me being me :)

TACP newbies!

I started this blog about 5 months ago, in a spurt of frustration with the lack of information available "out there" regarding what it's like to be married to someone in the TACP career field of the Air Force. My main intent was to provide a little bit of insight into this life for anyone facing a relationship with TACPs. I'm not sure if my day-to-day posts have always been all that insightful or focused on TACP life, but I'm trying...

Happily - a few of you have found me! I am so excited that some of you have emailed me with questions about TACP life and what to expect from becoming TACP. I don't know how to really publicize the blog further right now, but apparently I can be found somehow. It is exactly what I was hoping for, and I just wanted to thank you for finding and contacting me. Yay for a little TACP community!

My next project for the blog will be to create a little page of FAQs about the bare basics of TACP. Obviously, I cannot be too detailed for you as a lot of the job needs to be unknown for our guys' security. But, I will try to put up a few facts that are the usual first questions I get about this life. Feel free to let me know what you'd like to see up there, and I'll use some discretion on what answers I can post. I hope those of you who've talked to me are doing well as your endeavors bring you closer to the world of TACP!

Welcome Lil Mrs! It's definitely a good idea to use a blog to get stuff off your chest and just air you feelings. Good luck with your blog. :)
