About Me:
I'm a 20 something DINK (dual income no kids,) and I love my life. My husband and I are both teachers, but we're about to finish up our last year teaching for a while. Some say we're taking an early retirement.

We're currently saving up for an around the world trip, which we will be taking in June. We have a condo, so we'll need to rent it out. We're selling our cars and most of our belongings. I don't know how long we'll be gone because aside from traveling around the world for at least a year, we might end up teaching in Asia for another year after that.

We just started a website at www.backpackerdaily.com which details all of our plans. It's great to be part of this group!

Hahah,,yea backpacking so damn cause addiction,,oh yea have u backpack to indonesia,,bali probably ? i think, you should write down indonesia on ur list..for sure whole South-east Asian countries are must-place for backpacker.

I just click on to your blog, woww,,,u are a backpacker lady ? I'm the one who also love to get travelling in my life, almost all my travels are with backpacker style,,eventhough i did it still nationaly in my country. I think I should see and learn from your experience to get something good trick to backpacking..

definitely definitely go to australia. go from se asia and flights are not too bad. on a budget id say at least hit up cairns, whitsundays, fraser island, and sydney. if you have to narrow it down. i have not done a ton of traveling thus far in my life but i did live in hawaii for 6 months, and the beaches and (pretty much everything) in australia was much much better... if you end up in that area around their winter time places are still fantastic, and about half price. my round trip ticket from LA was like 520 after taxes. sydney was jacket weather, but everything north of that was brilliant. so. long story short, yes. go there. and thank you for reading :) stop by any time.
