About Me:

I'm Lizzie M, a Colorado girl born and bred, living the suburban life with my hubby, Eric, and our amazing gray cat, Mr. Winston. Eric and I have been together for almost eight years, and married for three of those years--it's a cliché, but true--time flies when you're having fun! I love hanging out with Eric, and my family, when I'm lucky enough to be able to see them (my family consists of my dad, my mom, my younger brother, and my older brother, my sister-in-law, and my two beautiful nephews).

I'm a sales director for an educational consulting firm by day and an espresso-obsessed, mad-scrapbooker, Diehard-Denver-Broncos-fan-and-season-ticket-holder, part-time-grad-student, liberal-till-the-day-I-die, sorority-alumni-sometimes-party-girl by night. My BA says I majored in English and "minored" in Elementary Education at the University of Denver which I'll be paying for for many years to come :) I love watching the Food Network (Everyday Italian) and have become a pretty good cook if I do say so myself. I am currently having the quarter life crisis of where to go next in my life as I have always been an extremely goal-oriented list-writing type of girl. On my to do list in the next few years: do some international travel (went to Europe in Sept/Oct 2007 and am heading to Costa Rica in January 2008) start teaching, finish my MA in Curriculum and Instruction (only five classes away), and have kids one of these days...but anyway enough about me.

What makes you different from other bloggers?

I’m an interesting dichotomy of work hard/be responsible/domestic (I have a great job, almost have my Master’s Degree, married and own a house, replete with subscription to Martha Stewart Living) and play hard/party/travel (I’m a sometimes-reformed sorority girl that still loves to go out and drink and dance every now and then).
