I'm living where I always hoped I would (NYC), doing what I always knew I would (making music) and it's infinitely more colorful and stranger-filled and God-saturated than I could have expected. I write about life in New York City.
I also love coffee "dates," so I sit down with thoughtful, inspiring (and crazily attractive, ha!) 20-somethings who are making their way through life in NYC loving Jesus and being excellent ... and then I blog about it!
Yes! Let's get together! I actually love that Starbucks bc I live like 2 blocks from it. I used to work there this past summer instead of going to the office (a job I no longer have...thank god!)
Please do let me know about the next show! I'm not sure if undergrad professors teach at the school of the arts but I'm sure you've heard of Sam Lipsyte. He was my workshop professor this past semester.
My goodness! What a small, small world! I love Columbia despite how much it costs. The MFA program is wonderful and I'm really enjoying working with a the faculty of writers. It's so awesome you write about your life in NyC! That's what I do, too. What do you do now? I'm scared to graduate in May. The job market is looking sad.
