About Me:

I am a first year graduate student in Classics; this means I will spend a hefty chunk of the next few years in a library. Last May I got married to a lovely man named Preston. He is also a Classicist and works as a Latin and history teacher. We will have very nerdy children. Preston and I are Virginia ex-pats beginning our second year in Pennsylvania, where we have an adopted, gloriously mutty dog named Callie and a ten week old yellow lab named Ness. We love our dogs more than we do many people, and spoil them accordingly. The amount of dog hair in our apartment has now reached a staggering level. My blog chronicles our life in Bryn Mawr: it is sometimes interesting and exciting, often random, and always full of Preston, Callie, and Ness.
