- I'm a girl in the middle of her twenties (26) navigating life post-college, and pre-married with children. I'm exploring the real world, and learning how to balance everything...from debt to dating and diets, rumors, roommates, interview snafus, make-up how-to's, what to read, what to wear, how to better myself, who I want to be when I "grow up" and how the heck to get there...
All that said, here are a few tidbits about ME...I've been a professional baby-sitter for ten years. I have an amazing family and awesome friends. I have a shih-tzu puppy named Fitz. I have an Irish-import boyfriend named Paul. I'm Irish.
Mostly. I'm also part French and 1/10th Native American.
I don't look like anyone in my family. I've been kickboxing for five years. I am a certified personal trainer and bartender but I've never pursued a career in either field. I learned American Sign Language and spent some time working in the deaf community. I don't like flowers. I love everything ginger or pumpkin flavored. I could probably recite every line from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" but I'm also one of the biggest Tarantino fans you'll ever meet. I have a weakness for tabloid magazines and one of my worst habits is eating in bed. I love naps more than I can say. My first crush was on John F. Kennedy Jr. My middle name is Elizabeth. My sister is 17 months younger than I am. I'm very close with my cousins (not THAT close. Gross) One of my favorite indulgences is going to a matinee by myself and devouring a large popcorn in one sitting.

Defining Moments

When I think of "defining moments" in life, I always think of marriage, babies, etc. But, at twenty-six, I realize I've done a LOT of living and I've definitely had some major life experiences that have defined who I am today.
It took me a while, but I was able to come up with a list of 10 defining moments of my 20s, thus far. And I'm very interested in what others are!
