Comments on independent film "My Name is Jerry"

Hey guys. I'm an advertising student and have been working on marketing for an independent film called "My Name is Jerry." It was shot on campus and is nearing it's final stages. It stars Doug Jones, who played the Silver Surfer and Pan in Pan's Labyrinth. It also has Bob from "That 70's Show" and Cathrine Hicks from "7th Heaven." This said, the new teaser is finally out. If you guys could check out the site and leave me some feedback on your overall thoughts and any suggestions you might make,…See More

Congrats on graduating! That's so exciting. I work at Starcom in Chicago and have been here since I graduated from BSU. Are you going to be doing creating, account management or media? Indy is a great town to live in, use it to get some great small agency experience and then move up to the big city :) You'll have to remember that I am quite bias on the Indy vs. Chicago debate.

Hey! Things are going well - and you? You've graduated, yeah? How's the real world? How's your advertising internship? I've realized, through working in that field, that I prefer advertising MUCH more than marketing. There's a big difference...one is more creative (the former) and one his more daunting. I'm doing a lot of the latter, but hopefully things will change now. I've learned through the advertising/marketing field that social media is starting to play a HUGE role. So, good thing you've got a blog as you make your way into the world! :)

Oh cool! Advertising is definitely a fun field! I work out in Florida and have been at two different marketing companies. Basically, I write a bunch of web content, press releases, blog posts and such. I do some social networking as well. It's pretty fun!

What're you looking to do after graduation?
