About Me:
I'm one of those rare Los Angeles natives you’re always hearing about, actually born and raised in West Hollywood. I have a B.A. in creative writing from the University of California, Riverside, and a Masters in professional writing from USC. One day it might even be worth the money I'm paying for it. Though I write in several genres, my focus is creative non-fiction, and I frequently use my blog as a sounding board for that endeavor.

I've noticed a lot more asshats this year than I have in previous so I tend to lurk a lot more. People are just so angry all the time or else you have 500 comments of pure meme. It's funny, but not on every post. I like the cooking subreddits though, those people are creative.

Cool! Fantasy novels are my favorite.

I actually have a brother in Hollywood at the moment trying to do TV writing--particularly things with a sci-fi flavor. It's a tough, competitive field.
