About Me:: I like food, and I like to write. So I blog about my eating-out experiences, in Chicago and beyond! I just started this blog because it's my *dream* to be able to do it as a full-time job (can you think of anything better - getting paid to eat, and then write about it!). I also maintain a more "personal" blog on blogger - www.seedling-megan.blogspot.com (if you don't think I have enough personality on Chicago Taster).

When I'm not blogging or otherwise haunting the internet, I work at a nonprofit organization in West Rogers Park (far north side). I like to drive around, admiring the architecture in the city and suburbs, play my guitars, look for interesting art pieces, and lounge on my boyfriend's couch.

Just because we could, Jon and I flew down to Los Angeles last Friday to attend the Precision Optical Holiday Party, which is a big, fancy affair held every year at the Hilton Waterfront Resort in Huntington Beach. It's always a big, fancy, drunken affair, and it was good for me to go and see all of these people, whom I haven't seen in a year... not since my dad's memorial service.
