About Me:
I'm a 24 year old from Asheville,NC. I was a chef at a fine dining restaurant in downtown when my career was suddenly cut short by an ATV accident Thanksgiving of 2007 which left me paralyzed from my sternum down. It took me about a year to get comfortable and back into the swing of things and I'm ready to pursue my passion. It's not always easy cooking while you're sitting down, but it's definitely worth the challenge. I started my cooking blog as something fun to do and to keep myself in the swing of things and also to help people who want to cook, but feel like they don't know where to start. While I don't consider myself a master chef by any means, I do consider myself great at what I do, and I would love to share my passion.

Good point ... lots of "rich" people. I like the architecture of uptown a ton. I haven't been around all of Charlotte, but what I have seen, I've loved. I guess it'd be a different story living in it though.

So envious. I live in Mooresville and would kill to live IN Charlotte. But with two jobs in town, the commute and extra rent dollars aren't quite worth it.

Yes, a good way. I'm sure this isn't shocking, but you don't see many paraplegic 20-somethings, yet alone someone who is and yet is continuing her passion regardless. It's pretty awesome.

And since I live just outside Charlotte, always great to see other NC bloggers.
