I've had to drop off soccer packets and babysit my boss's kids...sometimes I wonder if that's crossing the line since I'm technically not a personal assistant, but I count myself lucky to have found a job at an agency so I'll keep my mouth shut for now! This means that, among other things, I make coffee and answer phones, find and send tearsheets, file, file, file, media research and when I'm lucky do some copywriting, and attend brainstorming sessions.....I'll be here for a year in 2 weeks, so hopefully some sort of promotion is in store!
