Let’s see. If I had to describe myself in three words, they would have to be vivacious, curious and fun. As a twenty-something living in Atlanta, I am all about exploring life and living each moment to the fullest.
I love what I do and I do what I love
Confucius once said, “Do something you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life” and that is what I did. I currently work in social media marketing and public relations.
The best part is the puzzle, I love the research and I love knowing that it will never stop changing. As long as Google keeps growing, so will my job. If you ever have the chance to visit the farm you’ll find me working in the “bat cave”. I’ll be the one jamming out to Glee radio on Pandora while blogging, Googling, Tweeting or updating a Facebook page.
When I’m not blogging…
You can find me wrapped up in a good book. Especially if it’s chick-lit. I have a penchant for Broadway and love spending a Saturday at the Fox. My music taste is wide ranging and ever changing and my iPod is full of everything from Legally Blonde to the Beatles. If it’s on-stage and someone is singing and dancing, I’m in. While the Fox, Fernbank and High Museum of Art are all great, my favorite thing is that Atlanta is an outdoor city. I love the festivals, parks, people, patios, everything about warm weather and Atlanta. You can often find me on a restaurant patio with friends or trying out a new event in Atlanta.
Yes, I am a Mommy
If you count a Kitty a baby. In December I headed over to the Atlanta Humane Society to adopt a little one and I haven’t looked back. First I have to give this organization mad props because it was one of the nicest places I’ve been. I would recommend anyone head over the AHS to adopt a new pet.
But this little lady to the right is Lily the Kitty. I found this bundle of joy when she was 7 months old. I fell in love with her adorable long grey and white fur and her sweet demeanor. It was love at first sight and we haven’t ended our affair yet. Her original name was Juliet Lily, but really she only comes to Kitty. So I call her Lily the Kitty. She’s sassy, spunky and full of mischief, just like me.
