I am a Midwestern Belle, raised in Oklahoma and recently transplanted to Nebraska where I live with my amazing best friend and husband. I truly believe God has blessed me with an amazing family and a fantastic group of friends. I think Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was one remarkable lady and had marvelous taste! When I’m not studying for my awesome nursing program, I love traveling with my husband, hanging out with our families and our friends, sipping great wine, drinking lots of sweet tea, cooking/baking, eating really tasty food, watching my OU Sooners, watching Kevin’s Virginia Tech Hokies, going to the theater, internet shopping for things I can’t afford, reading (nursing and non-nursing books) and sharing my life on my blog. My favorite Bible verse right now just so happens to be…2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline…but, ask me in a month and I’m sure it will be different ;)

unfortunately (maybe - maybe not), the first thing i noticed after reading your "about me" on your blog is the fact that you support Hokie sports.
i am a wahoo through and through (i went to uva). i have zero love for hokies sports - especially their football team... but i hope we can still be blog buddies :D
Hey! I just have a quick favor to ask of you! I'm so sorry & I'm not trying to be complicated at all. I changed my domain name because my other one had my first and last name in it and I totally didn't think about that when I started my blog. Anyway, so it is changed now but it messed up my followers a little bit. Basically I'm giving my blog a face lift for the new year so could you be so kind to go to my blog and stop following me and then start following me again. That will fix it! Otherwise it just leads you to a dead link now. Thanks so much! Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience & I still LOVE you blog :)
