Love and Haiti is a personal blog, operated by myself, Nate Erickson. I am a singer/songwriter, an intern for Wyclef Jean and a volunteer representative for Yele Haiti during this crisis. I also am a co-founder of iRelief, who have been working under the name of Haiti Quake Relief to support the victims and survivors of the recent earthquake. We work alongside Yele to connect major clients (celebrities, corporations) with the cause and deliver information to any and all individuals, groups, or organizations willing to lend a hand as well.
It's purpose is to inform readers on the current situation in Haiti, as well as give an inside look to the management of one of the largest logistical challenges in the history of natural disaster relief. Naturally, I won't always have time to post but I'll do my best to keep you all informed.
