About Me:

I am a 20-something Indian girl who has lived in Mumbai all her life and can’t imagine life outside this place; well, at least not a normal one! I am a talker, a complete chatter-box. Few other things that I like to do besides talking are reading books with such vigor and enthusiasm that I don’t mind giving up sleep which is another one of my favorite pastimes. I occasionally write a few poems when there is some inspiration or I have nothing better to do. Writing my blog (which I have discovered only about a year ago) is like an opportunity to vent without having to worry about whether someone is interested in listening or not. Also, I love listening to music and dancing!!! That’s pretty much the regular stuff that I like to do. For the juicy details, read the blog posts. ;)

Currently, I am studying to be a Chartered Accountant. I also teach Accounting, Financial Management and Costing (which I think are quite cool compared to Law, Auditing and Tax!!!) for CA students who are preparing for their Intermediate level exams. I have alternate career plans as well which I will talk about and dedicatedly pursue once I am done with my CA exams.

I am a very strong headed and independent person (though hopelessly emotional!). I live every moment as if it were my last (except when I’m sleepy… then I want nothing but to sleep) and don’t believe in regrets. Yes, there are many things I wish I had not done or done a lot differently; but those are the things that have made me what I am today. With each setback; however minor (and I know I have had more than my share of ‘em for my age) I’d like to believe that I have grown stronger and tougher. And people who really know me seem to love me for the way I am; so it’s a win-win for everyone!

At my blog, I talk about what I’ve been doing, things that I see, hear or feel; and other general random stuff. If you’ve liked what you’ve read so far, stick around for more. I’ll try not to disappoint you!

I post every thing from day to day life, to my thoughts about the media (not very frequently though.) I also write stories and poems and they make it to my blog.. well, mostly.
