Got married a little less than a year ago, which I still think is totally weird. Moved to Chicago to be with my then boyfriend, now husband, and have set up a great life here minus one thing. All my closest friends are in New York. Or San Francisco. Or DC. So I'm focusing this year on making some local BFFs. My own Blanche, Rose and Dorothy. Or Phoebe and Monica. Or Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte. You get the picture.

What makes you different from other bloggers?

My posts are very targeted to friendship--and all the awkard and hilarious and complicated issues that surround it. But it's not one of those cheesy celebrations of sisterhood. Or a bitchfest about how evil girls are. It's a real look at what friendship has become in the 21st century--with Facebook and blogging and texting and all. And I don't take myself too seriously.
