About Me:

Where to begin? Well, my name is Rye Thomas Youatt. I live a wonderful life in Traverse City, Michigan. This area is so beautiful and yet, most people when they think of Michigan automatically think of rundown Detroit or Flint. Northern Michigan is quite different. It's home to a thriving wine industry, great micro-breweries, cherries, a cheers-like bar scene, excellent food, and gorgeous views of the Grand Traverse Bay. It's hard to explain who I am in a nutshell, but just briefly, i'm currently employed with Chateau de Leelanau-a family owned winery on the Leelanau Peninsula. When i'm not working, i'm a student at the Great Lakes Culinary Institute. As far as music is concerned, i'm all over the board. Sometimes I wish I could relive the 90's just so I can experience hearing the music for the first time again. I also play the Alto Saxophone, Violin, and an Electric Acoustic Ibanez guitar. Finally, I love to write. I draw a lot of inspiration from music, people I encounter, and above all else, this beautiful land I call home.
