About Me:

I consider myself a modern hippy.. but dont call me a hipster. Yoga isnt a hobby, its a lifestyle. Born a Bostonian, always a Bostonian. Always evolving and forever reinventing myself. I listen to hardcore when I workout, feel angry, or drive in rush hour traffic; not sure if theres any correlation. Im a budding novelist, photographer, and painter. I can cook with the best of them, but I burn almost everything I bake. Im a type A personality and will frequently bite off more than I can chew. I love reading memoirs, and have a hefty collection of them. I have more shoes than any human being needs to have, ever. When I get in a giggle fit, I laugh like Betty Rubble. There is no gray area with me; either people love me or hate me. Im an adreniline junkie. Two most unattractive qualities: laziness and complacency. I always give second chances, but not thirds. I am as independent as hell. I hate routine, but Im a creature of habit. I lived in 3 major cities in a 12 month span. Life to me is like a giant game of chess, and im always analyzing my next move. I don't take anything for granted. It surprises people constantly that I enjoy IPA beers. I have the natural abilty to read people really well. Sarcasim is my middle name. More moxie than necessary. I refuse to eat fast food, but Im a sucker for a sub sandwhich. Starbucks Addict. I have 6 piercings and 1 tattoo. Theres no better feeling than digging your toes in the sand or the smell of pavement after a summer rain. Workaholic. Ridiculously long winded. Perfectionist. Peoples first impression of me is typically the exact opposite of who I am. I love the "AHA!" moments. I dont dream often, but the dreams I do have, Im pretty sure are directed by Michael Bay. Deftones are my instant aphrodisiac. My friends and companions are my lifelines, but I relish my alone time. You are what you eat, and your body is your house, so treat it well. Moments in life inspire me, they are the source of my creative output. I collect pint glasses. I laugh at my own jokes, even if they arent funny. I dedicate my yoga practice to someone everyday, and leave all my stress on the mat as much as possible. Teaching is my purpose. Failure is not an option.
