- I am a public relations professional, shameless dog mom and avid community-building enthusiast. I graduated from both the University of Toronto (Hon. B.A. majoring in Social & Cultural Anthropology with minors in Writing, Rhetoric & Critical Analysis and English. The combination complemented itself more than you might think) and Loyalist College (Post Graduate Public Relations aka The-Program-That-Changed-My-Life). After spending a bit of time living and working in the eclectic metropolis of Toronto, I decided to pass up on the lights and traffic to live in the Quinte Area (a quieter, industrious hidden gem of a place) with my dog, Jasper (http://justjasper.wordpress.com). I maintain a warm, albeit somewhat distant relationship with Toronto but visit as often as my schedule permits ;)
Among a host of other things, I enjoy social media, exploration and meeting new people. I am also a fan of local wine, naps and Bob Gainey, and I believe wholeheartedly in the fine art of spontaneous travel.

Pure Genius: Musing Over 'The Social Network'

While I'm well aware that I’ve pretty much missed the boat here, I finally managed to see The Social Network last week and, seeing as social media is kind of something that I do (y'know, in life), I figured that not blogging my thoughts about it was kind of out of the question.
First impressions before diving into the nitty-gritty: I love this movie.
