- I hit my quarter life crisis a few years ago and never really left it! 2008 was a very hard year for me--I lost my mother, who was my best friend and an amazing woman, to pancreatic cancer. After a lot of soul searching, I gave up my career in Visual Merchandising to pursue my dream of being a writer--something my mother always hoped I would do. Currently I am the founder of Stiletto Sports, a girl's guide to sports from a pink and sparkly POV. I love every minute of it, but had no idea just how much work it would be! And how little the work had to do with writing!
Starting my own company leaves me little time for socializing and even less for a romantic relationship. And at my age when all my friends are getting married and having kids, it is very depressing!
