Naturally Delicious!

I finally did it! I finally decided to cut all the relaxed [permed] hair off and go natural 100%. Talk about a life changing event. I never thought I would build up enough courage to finally go through with it but one day I woke and up said 'what the heck' and went to Walmart [of all places] and got it cut. What was really cool about the experience is that they lady that cut it had natural hair herself so she gave me tips and told me of a brand name to use called Cantu. About Me:
I was born in the north but I am southern girl at heart [though i rarely admit it]. I have a tendency to let you know about yourself and that sometimes does not end on a happy note. I don’t like to sugar coat anything.

I am a Christian woman and Jesus is everything in my life. Each day is a trial, but I am thankful that I am allowed to see another day. I may say some things that may have you question my walk with God, but all I can say is that I am a sinner and no one is perfect.

Music is what keeps me alive and sane through out the day.

I am the youngest of 3 girls [yes, I'm spoiled].

I like the smell of cookies as they bake and I’m a movie junkie.

Sew In pt. 1

Okay, here is the deal. As many of you know I am getting my hair done tomorrow night, if the chick doesn’t flake out hopefully. I am getting what is called a “sew in.” What that means is my actual hair will be one big cornrow, in a circular shape, and then the hair will be sewn in, hence the name.
