About Me:

Tyler Parker is a 23 year old actor from Canada, currently pursuing an education in the theatrical arts. Although he has a preference to performance in live theatre venues, he also has dabbled in television work and found joy in it.

Tyler has been involved in the pursuit of this passion for much of his life, either on stage or behind the scenes. Although both have been interesting, there is a definate preference to working on stage/in front of the camera. In the past year, Tyler has take a hiatus from doing any work outside of class, as there has been a combined 4 plays undertaken in a mere three months. Most recently, Tyler has begun to experiment with the neutral mask as well as the character mask, and although he finds both to be ineresting, has a definate preference towards working with character mask. This work would not be possible without first experimenting with neutral mask and the exploration of neutrality, and he is thankful for the new dimension this has added to his work.

In his spare time, Tyler likes to dabble in writing and is currently working on a show involving his classmates. Along with this show, Tyler has also written a short one-act musical, a show which is written in the style of the Greek chorus, a one act play designed for high school students, and a few other plays which could be easily adapted to multiple situations.
