About Me:
My name is Will Hawkins; I am currently finishing my Undergraduate degree in Human Performance studies, and will soon begin my Masters degree in Human Performance Studies. My blog is dedicated to taking a scientific approach to the improvement of speed, power, agility, reaction time, quickness and overall performance of elite athletes. In addition to relevant undergraduate coursework, and personal research, I have interned and worked at multiple athletic performance and wellness gyms. Have you ever wondered just how fast Usain Bolt really is? We all know he has just broken his old world record by running a 9.58 second 100 meter dash, but if you’re like most then you don’t really have a category for that kind of speed. A few weeks agoe the American Council for Exercise (ACE) announced their findings for the “Top Fitness Trends for 2010.” While there findings were interesting and hysterical, they we’re not all that surprising.
