About Me:

24

Fill in the blank: "People who like _________ will love my blog!"
Reading, writing, and thinking and talking about reading and writing
What makes you different from other bloggers?
My blog is focused on the media industry, but it's not all incompassing -- it is about the way I experience the world through the words I read and write. It also gives glimpses into the life of a woman who, even after living in a big city for 5 years, is still navigating her way outside of suburbia but has fallen in love with cities and the people who often go unnoticed in them.

Essay Contest: Please Submit!

Some friends and I are looking for essays written by a wide range of people who are between 19 and 29 years old to be part of a future published collection of essays. The purpose is to create a book that reflects, but does not attempt to pigeon-hole or ultimately define our generation as a single entity. Write an essay that tells us who you are. It can be about anything -- mundane or monumental, a moment or a year, an individual or a group.

Any essay submitted stands a chance of being published in the final book (provided it comes to fruition, of course).

The details for submitting:
Essays can be up to 4,500 words long and should be e-mailed to ProjectEssays@gmail.com.
E-mail your essays by 11:59 p.m. on August 18.
Please paste your essay with its title in the body of the e-mail along with your name and contact information. Also attach the essay as a Word document.

Questions? E-mail us at ProjectEssays@gmail.com.

I usually procrastinate, but I beat the deadline by 10 hours - yeah me!

Just curious...how did you pick people to even send an invite to for the essay contest?
