I'm an American expat living in the gay capital of England, a bit like San Fran with a different accent! I do web content for an events company and am trying to pick up a bit with freelancing on the side. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania, quickly fled to New Zealand, and am trying to work my way back there for reals this time.

One more reason I love England

England is well known for having terrible weather, right? It seems the sun is always hiding behind the clouds, even down in the south where I live. The past two summers have been terrible but even so, I've noticed a trait in English men that cracks me up to no end.

I'll explain everything...

I've been a bit MIA lately. It's not for lack of interest, but the past two months I've been having some absolutely mind-ripping headaches. Come to find out, I was having a pretty serious reaction to some medication! I couldn't stand to look at a computer screen for more than 5 minutes at a time...so writing was well out of the question. I entered the land of the infomercials

So in one of the more bizzare moments of my life, I just had a little Truman Show-esque moment. I declared war on the filthy shower, pulled out the Tilex, read the directions and got to killing some mildew. I sprayed everything down, let it sit for a few minutes and when I came back....
