About Me:

I'm Karen. I write for a legal publication and studied print (yes, as in ink and paper) journalism and Spanish in college. I spent a few summers slaving away, er, interning at daily newspapers in small town Virginia before being hired full-time as an education reporter. After two years there, I moved to New York to pursue journalism outside of newspapers, trading my beautiful apartment in Virginia for a tiny apartment in Queens. Luckily I'm a tiny girl, and life continues to be an adventure.
