Straightedge and geeky. Loves comics, history, the arts & [possibly pretending] being indie. An International Relations student, blogger, gay rights activist, realist and a stage manager for the Rock Challenge in Dubai.
I am moody and neurotic.
I cannot stand open doors or dry skin. I count everything. I sanitise my hands whever I touch a foreign object and then moisturise.
My best friend, Mohannad, hence calls me 'bubble girl,' although, that would make for a kick ass super-heroine.
I cannot stand people who slaughter and butcher the English language and reduce it to nothing more than a sentence filled with abbreviations, acronyms, contractions, and worst of all, numbers to make up a word.
I focus on the irritations in my life, and I have magic markers. Piss me off, and I will not be afraid to use them.
Let's focus on things that I like, shall we?
I enjoy painting. It can be anything from fairies to just big yellow blobs of watercolour. Hey, I said I paint; I never said I was any good at it.
I enjoy reading. Non fiction, preferably.
Cooking is therapeutic for me, and by that I mean smacking someone's behind with a hot skillet.
Glasses are awesome.
I'm such a wannabe geek...but hey, nerds and geeks are hot, so I'm not complaining.
I enjoy finding otherwise unnoticeable and unthinkable patterns made from shadows cast from the gathers in the curtains onto the floor and ceiling...
